2008 World Series of Poker
Registration is now open for the 2008 World Series of Poker, which you can access through their website.
Still tempted to make it out there but I still don’t think this is the year. I think I’m going to wait another 5-10 years from now when people think about poker like they think about pet rocks or something. I’m a little too claustrophobic for that whole scene.
Hopefully this year is a little more interesting than last, though. I don’t think there could have been a more boring main event broadcast.
Not to mention, hmm, Jerry Yang, who’s probably gone on to do the least of any recent world champ, yet another testament to his lucky donk status.
Any readers thinking about heading out for the event this year?
