If you’ve missed any of the latest WSOP ESPN Broadcasts, including the recent $10,000 Omaha bracelet event with the Grinder, etc., you can pretty much find all of them available to view online, uploaded at Pokertube.com.
Here’s that Omaha event, part 1, and the other 3 parts follow after on the site.
Enjoy!

After watching the recent WSOP broadcast of the Omaha championship, it became pretty clear to me that even pros forget than in Omaha, aces aren’t worth that much, as nice as they look. A pair in omaha, even the daddy pair, isn’t worth much, particularly in multiway pots, though people often still can’t get the [...]

The PokerStars WCOOP, or World Championship of Online Poker, will be kicking off a week from tomorrow, with some of the biggest events online I’ve ever seen, including a guaranteed $10 million prize pool for the main event.
I haven’t played a lot of big online tourneys with buyins of this size, but if there were [...]

Ever wonder what Phil Hellmuth looks like whining off ESPN camera?
Yeah, me neither. But here’s a video of the Poker Whiner getting slapped with a cursing penalty at the 2008 WSOP Main Event:
Still a stupid rule, but it’s nice to see it stuck on PH.

Tonight reairs the dual showing of Michael Mizrachi’s attempt at a $ 10,000 WSOP Omaha bracelet and Phil Hellmuth’s run at a 12th bracelet in the $1500 HORSE event. It’s a bit better viewing than the other broadcasts have been but still stuck mostly on all-in races.
As annoying as Phil is, he pretty much keeps [...]

Apparently there’s a fad going around where if you send Daniel Negreanu $.02, you are promised a wave of good luck at the tables. I’m not sure who started this plot, but a certainly am not sure how a dude already awash in cash needs $.02 from other players, though supposedly he’s been doing pretty [...]

A slight delay in roadtrip timing has me reeling to catch up with poker time, but updates will be back on track as of tonight… thanks for hanging out!
A return to the world of live cash game poker is also imminent in my future, so more hand by hand analysis of cash game talk should [...]

I had no idea they were already two seasons deep into Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari’s prop bet gambling show I BET YOU. You can watch most of them online for free, which is quite nice, and it is a nice change from the usual onslaught of all in programming.
I used to think Esfandiari was [...]

There’s a recent interview with poker badass Name Le up at the CardPlayer site this week, definitely worth a read, with focuses on reading players and tournament play.
A little excerpt:
RL: What are the things you consider when you go into a deeper thought process against players who you know well?
NL: First is who the player [...]

Watched some of the WPT Ladies Night event for 2008 on GSN the other night, got some angry remarks back from my also-watching girlfriend when I made derisive comments about their play. She asked, “When is the men’s only poker event?” and I said “That’s all the other ones,” not even being fully serious…
But then [...]
