Another No Name Signs to PokerStars
Victoria Coren?
These days I guess all it takes is one big tournament win to sign a promo deal.
Said Coren, on being named as the latest member of Team PokerStars: “I’m genuinely proud and happy to be an ambassador for PokerStars, I have played on the site for years. And I’m especially delighted to help promote the EPT, which was already my favourite tournament series even before I won in London. The only difference is that I used to play it in cheaper shoes. Team PokerStars Pro is a lineup of some of the most exciting and memorable characters in modern poker, I’m really chuffed to be joining them.”

Actually I think the requirements are “wiin a named tourney and be a good looking or hot chick”.
I am curious what this broad looks like. PokerStars actively seeks out attractive female players.
When’s the last time you’ve seen Raymer in a commercial for PS? It’s not very often and if it is then he’s hidden in the background or only shown for about 1 second.
Yet i’ve seen the barrage of Vanessa Rousso commercials frequently. I like Vanessa, but last time I checked she didn’t win the WSOP main event.
Actually, I don’t think she even has a bracelet or a big win.

Not exactly a no-name. Respected journalist, writer and TV/radio presenter in the UK.

Victoria Coren is not a no-name by any means. As mentioned previously she is VERY widely known in Britain and for several things outside of poker. She is the only woman to win an EPT title and in addition she is a well known broadcaster and TV personality in the UK. And unlike most of the glamour women who the poker sites look to for endorsements, this one has the brains to match the stunning beauty.
