Another Poker Raid
Another poker raid, this time in South Carolina, nabs a prosecutor:
from the Poker News report:
“A South Carolina raid conducted under that state’s antiquated gambling statutes resulted in the arrests of 27 players, most at a Hanahan, SC home, including a deputy prosecutor who subsequently submitted his resignation in the wake of the raid. Don Sorenson, a 13-year veteran serving Calhoun, Dorchester and Orangeburg counties, was among the players taken into custody at the raid on the private home of Martin and Dawn Reyes, where the games were held.”
Never gets old, does it boys?
They even eat their own.

Hmm. I am wondering where this fits in the “protect and to serve” motto.
On a different note, a guy got stabbed to death out your way over a game of $1/$2. I think it was at the Taj Mahal if I remember right.

I first heard about it on poker radio (gavin and sebok’s show).
It apparently was over a stupid seat. The guy got up, came back, flipped out some dude was in his seat, waited for him to take a break outside and then stabbed him.
I guess that is the definition of full tilt.
