David Chiu Wins WPT Championship

As most of you probably know, every year the World Poker Tour has a big super buy-in tourney to finish out the season, with all the winners of previous tourneys from that season coming along with free buyins.

This year was a pretty hairy final table in which David Chiu was the ultimate victor over runner up Gus Hansen, taking home a $3.4 million prize. Ouch.

Cardplayer’s got an excellent rundown of the key hands from the final table.

I think after that and Gus’s deep run into the WSOP Main Event, as well as his win of the Aussie Millions, it’s about time all that ‘donk’ talk cuts out. Dude knows what he’s doing.
