Another 3 outer strikes and my poker break begins.

No more until the new year, if then.

I will continue to blog about things that jump into my little mind.

Well my philosphy is that poker is a fighting sport.and win again.

Stu Unger is a great example.

Don’t give up. The new year is a long ways off. :)

Like a fighting sport, a champion is not defined by a person with a perfect record. A champion is defined by the type of person who can take a horrible loss and come back

i think i need a break regardless. i don’t have even the will to play right now. gotta get my breath back and actually be excited to sit down, you know?

Well I agree and disagree.

I agree you should take a break if you are playing crappy.

I disagree if you are playing well and losing just to bad beats.

Poker is a game of peaks and valleys. You won’t hit the peaks if you don’t play.

But of course you could start playing crappy because of mental anguish after all the bad beats.

And then you should take a break.

I am vacillating here but hopefully it makes sense.
