Erick Lindgren Wins His 1st WSOP Bracelet

Erick Lindgren has probably been at the top of the list of pros who hadn’t won a bracelet yet who needed to for a while now. Anytime he got into an interview about it you could tell it was driving him insane. He’d done too much in poker not to do the big one.

Now he has.

Taking down the title in event #4 of this year’s World Series of Poker, a mixed hold em event, where in the end he played heads up against Justin Bonomo.

“My strategy heads-up was just to keep my head down, keep betting, and hope he folds,” laughed Lindgren.”Seriously, I decided I would put the pressure on him because that is what he likes to do.”

Congrats Erick. Well deserved.
