From $0 to wherever
My own personal jaunt into the world of Sit N Go winnings gets the wine bottle crushed on its hull today, as I turned one of my $26 tournament entry chips (won with player points) on Full Tilt into a 4th place $107 finish.
Placing in the money (only the top 6 of 45 got paid) turned out to be a feat in itself as whoever the current short stack was during the final 7 somehow could not find a way to get busted, causing me to sit for almost 40 minutes on the bubble, surviving by the skin of my teeth to make the money.
I fully regret the way I played when it got down to 4 handed, but the blinds were so huge it was pretty much see who gets lucky.
I now plan to use that win to fund some sit n go’s and MTT entries to hopefully continue to rise.
From $0 to $107 so far. Notbad.

Blake,
I think you should stick to tourneys for awhile. You have been playing low stakes cash games where donkeys will call with anything. This is exactly why I don’t play low stakes.
But in a tourney, $100 could get you to $1500 and even the donks understand that they must play decent poker to get into the money.
I strictly play tourneys now until I can afford a bankroll to play stakes high enough where real poker can be played for cash.
Glad to hear you are doing a bit better.
