Full Tilt Points
So in my absence from playing cash games, I have been using the Full Tilt player points that I accumulated during my online days, which have since been just sitting there doing nothing. I don’t want their poker merch because I don’t like to sport chode style, and I don’t have enough for any of the really big prizes because you’d have to play forever to get those.
But for 600 play points a pop, you can enter into a 9 person sit n go where the winner gets a $26 tournament entry chip. The players that compete in these are usually pretty donk, so if you sit tight for the first 20 minutes you’ll be down to 3-4 players and from there (bad beats not withstanding)_ its often not hard to take it down. I’ve grabbed a few of those entry chips and hopefully maybe by not getting jacked hard I can win some real cash and start playing online a little again, just to keep the gamble settled in my blood.
It’s hard to play several nights a week for so long and then suddenly not be playing, but these player point freerolls help keep me in line.
