Method to Madness

by Blake on April 3rd, 2008

Evidently Hevad ‘I’m almost as annoying as Humberto Brenes’ Khan has a little more up his sleeve than antics, and his run at last year’s WSOP wasn’t a fluke.

from cardplayer.com’s news story:

In event No. 9 of the Foxwoods Poker Classic, a $2,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em prelim, 2007 World Series of Poker main event final tablist Hevad Khan went head to head for first place against 2006 WSOP main event final tablist Michael Binger. In the end, it was Khan who was the last player Michael Binger standing out of the 192 entrants, and he took home more than $108,000 for first place. Binger was awarded just over $80,000 from the total prize pool of nearly $345,000.

Good job, dude, I guess.

Hopefully this year you’ll have noticed what a goober you looked like on national TV and you’ll learn to relax.

At least he seems like a nice guy.
