Musics
Are there any particular kinds of music that you listen to when you play cards? Online or live, it might make a difference.
I usually like to keep it ears-free when I’m at a live table because I like to hear what people are saying, but when I’m at home I hate the chk-chk of the chips (but also don’t turn them off for fear of missing action), so I usually run a little music. iTunes on shuffle covers about all the bases, but I wonder what other people listen to?
My buddy Matt likes to use headphones at the tables in Tunica to keep the old dudes sitting next to him from trying to start conversations, but he says he always turns the volume down under the table when he gets in a hand. He likes to listen to weird droning instrumentals mainly, which I don’t know if would help me or make me wanna punch my head.
Tell me.

At home I use http://www.pandora.com and setup various music genres to play.
I listen to a fairly wide range of music.
At the casino I usually have headphones on but leave the ipod off. I like to be able to listen to others but appear to not be paying attention at all.

I’m strictly a sound off person. The window forces itself up when I need to make a move. Music wise, probably some people have never heard of him - Graham Bond. Some pumping Hammond organ when I’m playing poker.
