Phil Hellmuth is just sad
We’ve seen a lot of Phil Hellmuth garbage, but this might be enough to make me vomit on myself:
I mean really. It’s going beyond his poker image and into some kind of bizarre I AM GOD mode that has entered this sad man’s head. This is something he and his children will look back in twenty years and hang their heads and say jeez, dad was a chump.
“Mori, I been playin’ poker 20 years… I’ve never had people talking during my action.”
“I can’t even make a decision anymore.”
I usually hate Sean Sheikhan, but he is pretty funny and on point on talking back. Seems like even these guys are getting sick of the whole parade and whine extraganza.
Phil off screen. “She showed? What did she show?” Gus, “Oh, she showed Ace eight.” Phil: “I called her hand! I called her hand!”
“I’m not going to play this event anymore!”
Oh no! Don’t take home the He Man action figures with you! NO! We wants play! Big Phil, no please, stay! Stay! Your saliva is our water!
It’s not even funny anymore. It’s worse than Humberto’s shark. Stop. Stop.

My favorite part is when Mori comes into camera and tells Helmuth to either play or muck and then walks away.

Yeah Mori deals pretty well I think.
I would have paid money to see him say, “Well, Phil, I guess you won’t be coming back then.” Watch the stained glass fall out of Hellmuth’s eyes.

Mori is the exec producer actually, not the dealer.
Steve Zolotov sticks up for Phil an dthen changes his mind once he starts acting like a baby.
When Gus and Huck are making fun of you then usually you deserve. Those guys aren’t malicious from any of the live play i’ve seen.
Annie should have called the clock on him and made him go monkey rage tilt. She might have been able to take all of his chips there.

but yeah, if gus is cracking on you, you’re dumb. i don’t think i’ve ever seen him say much of anything in that way.

I’ve seen this a couple of hundred times now and it never gets old…this guy is just a dweeb if there ever was one.
If Huck Seed is ripping on you, you definitely deserve it. He’s second only to Allen Cunningham in terms of quietest table manner, so if he’s slapping you around with words you’ve definitely EARNED it.

yeah you don’t see Seed talk much. though i have a bad taste in my mouth toward him from that time from the wsop, maybe raymer’s year, where he got pissed about losing a pot and got all ‘what are you lookin at?’ on his opponent for no reason. I haven’t been able to like him much after that.
