Here’s an interesting hand between Farha and Negreanu. It’s getting near the end of the season and so everyone’s playing a little looser. This is a great example of how talking too much can give away your hand. Here Farha has Negreanu scared when the flop comes overcards but by talking a little bit Farha makes it very clear that he is behind and gives the green light to Negreanu to go ahead and swoop on a pot he could have given up if Farha had applied the proper kind of pressure or at least kept his mouth shut.
Poker lesson: SHUT UP.

Daniel does the same thing in a later hand against Antonio.
He even admits that he gave it away by talking too much at the end.
I believe it is that episode.

no one should ever talk. unless you’re really annoying and make people want to cut you like jamie gold.
