Site launch!
So, as of today, October 2nd, allpokeraddicts.com is live live. We have a couple contests going for the launch, which you can see in the post below, so get up on that. Free stuff for reading is nice.
In other thoughts, I finally caught the new episode of WSOP 2007 last night, featuring, much to my horror, both Humberto Brenes and Hevad Khan at the same table, both making monkey faces and howling and being ridiculous. I couldn’t even finish the show.
Showboating really kills me in poker. There’s no reason for it other than to get Norman Chad to pay more attention to you when the cameras turn your way.
Excuse me, sir? You are making ape sounds and throwing your hands around like an epileptic, and you are beginning to make me throw up in my mouth a little. Can we, um, cut that out?
I also found it funny that Khan calls himself BULLDOZER, though pretty much every pot I’ve seen him in he had the nuts. I’d say it’s pretty easy to bulldoze somebody when you can’t be beat. That means you’re actually overbetting and losing money.
But what the hell do I know?
It’s way too easy to get famous these days.
